AI Project Proposal (984G5)

15 credits, Level 7 (Masters)

Autumn teaching

On this module, you’ll construct and present a proposal for a complex research problem within the domain of artificial intelligence.

This module gives you the opportunity to develop a creative project plan for an AI-related challenge that has a high-level of complexity. It should either lead to theoretical contributions to a subfield of AI or employ advanced AI methods to address interdisciplinary or industrial problems.

A primary technical supervisor will advise on your direction and progress. Throughout this module, you'll develop a detailed strategy for how your specific problem will be studied. You will provide details of appropriate techniques and feasible resources that can be used to address the problem. This proposal forms the basis of the main dissertation project.
