Summer teaching

The main aim of this course is to enable you to undertake an empirical research project on an approved topic in Finance. Specifically, it involves researching and writing up, in the form of a dissertation, a research topic from any area within the scope of the degree, provided it contains some empirical finance study relevant to the course. It enables you to critically survey and identify relevant theories and models and then to employ them in finance.

100%: Written assessment (Dissertation)

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2024/25. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
