Hop on the bus for just £1!
Brighton & Hove Buses are introducing a £1 'short hop' fare for the festive season, available until 31 January 2025. This new fare is intended to make it cheaper and easier to take a short trip to local shops and services over the Christmas break.

New Southern Rail train timetables
A new train timetable will be in place from Sunday 15 December, primarily adding services to certain lines.

Check your train journey this festive season
Thameslink are undertaking a series of engineering works over the festive break, ongoing until early January. These will affect services on the midland main line to London St. Pancras, London services to and from Wimbledon and Sutton, and services in the Cambridge area.

Car parks, roads, and closures
P1 Science car park will be used for parking and a shuttle bus for the in neighbouring Stanmer Park, every evening from Thursday 12 to Sunday 22 December. Several spaces are reserved for a shuttle bus drop-off point, and up to 150 visitors will be parked in the area after 5pm on these dates.
There is a major BHAFC football match (Albion v Crystal Palace) on Sunday 15 December, kickoff at 2pm. This is expected to be fully sold out, with campus car parks and surrounding areas likely to be very busy from midday on Sunday.
