Seven Deadly Sins

The photographic project that I have orchestrated over the last academic year is a conceptual portraiture series influenced by the Christian classification of vices known as the Seven Deadly Sins. Each image in my series aims to be a contemporary depiction of the established sins; Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, Greed, Wrath, Pride and Lust. Produced in a studio environment for greater creative control, the stylistic influence of my series came from my work experience in magazine shoots which encouraged me to feature editorial-style visuals, such as vibrant colour palettes and a thematic framework.
