Vocal Booths

Silverstone Building Room 104A-C (Via room 103) 

MAH have Vocal booths located on the ground floor of the Silverstone building geared towards recording of individuals. These spaces are perfect for the recording of projects like voiceovers for film, reports, and solo podcasts and other audio recordings.

Each is equipped with a 21’ imac, Focusrite 2i2 interface and Rode NT1-A Microphone on an adjustable boom arm with pop filter and set of headphones. This facility is bookable via our online booking system SiSO, for CCP and Journalism subjects and is available up to 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  


 

There are also 2 Vocal booths located in Chrome Lab (2nd floor Silverstone) and Sky Lab (3rd Floor Silverstone) which are open access labs and again geared towards recording of individuals.

These booths are equipped with a Dell PC’s, Audio interface and Rode Podcaster microphone on an adjustable boom arm with pop filter headphones and speakers. 

These ‘Lab’ based booths are open access and there is no need to book them on SiSo in order to use them. However please note you may be unable to use these booths if there is a class tasking place in the lab.  

These Booths may be used by any practice students within CCP, Journalism and Music in MAH.
