1. How do I get access to the Finance System?

To apply for access to the Finance System, fully complete the New User Access Form (Non-Finance) [DOCX 36.89KB] and email it to the Finance Service Desk at financeservicedesk@sussex.ac.uk

2. How do I change or reset my password?

If you are logged in the Finance System but would like to change your password, click on your username in the toolbar on the top right corner of the screen and select 'Your profile'. Click on ‘Change password’ and follow the instructions.

If you have forgotten your password, click on the 'Forgotten your password?' link on the log in screen. You will be emailed a new password, which you will be prompted to change when you log on.

3. What do I do if my Finance System account is locked?

If your account has been locked due to multiple inaccurate login attempts, there is a 5 minute wait before you can either try logging in again or use the 'Forgotten your password?' button to request a new password.

Please note that Finance System access will remain parked until you have completed your finance induction.

4. How do I add a favourite to my home screen?

Open the required page and click on the heart in the top right corner of the screen. This will add the page to your favourites, which you can see on the right hand side of the home screen.

5. Can I have more than one tab open at once?

You can have a maximum of 10 tabs open at any time on the Finance System, and you can click between the tabs to work on multiple screens.

You can have a split screen view by clicking on the open book icon in the top right corner of the page.

6. What should I do if I need to change what I can access in the Finance System, for example if my job role changes?

Complete the New User Access Form (Non-Finance) [DOCX 36.89KB], noting the additional access that you need. If you are a member of staff, this form will need to be signed by your line manager. If you are a PhD student, the form will need to be signed by your Head of School.

Once complete, email the form to the Finance Service Desk at financeservicedesk@sussex.ac.uk
