WPM Online Shop

The ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Online Shop has been in use since 2014 and has steadily grown year on year. The range of products and services we offer is more diverse than ever and we are keen to expand this even further.

The service is available to all University departments, providing a secure payment platform for the sale of goods and services by credit or debit card. AMEX and Paypal are also included. 

We are constantly looking for ways to use the system to effectively reduce time-consuming manual processes and provide a more secure, streamlined payment experience for customers. 

Some of the products we currently offer through the Online Shop include:

  • Conference and event bookings
  • Short courses
  • Trips and activities
  • Memberships
  • Replacement certificates
  • Study packs and course materials
  • Vacation housing / short-term bookings

To submit a request for a new Online Shop product, please complete the Online Shop Product Request Form [DOCX 19.54KB] and return it to the Finance Service Desk at FinanceServiceDesk@sussex.ac.uk.

What are the main benefits?

  • Free to use for all University departments
  • Secure payment by credit / debit card, AMEX and PayPal
  • Accessible by anyone in and outside of the UK (not reliant on University credentials)
  • Real time reporting and email notifications to easily keep track of sales
  • Fully customisable products including additional questionnaires, bespoke notification emails and automated activation of products, enabling flexible pricing options
  • Income received appears in your budget code the following day
  • Customers receive immediate payment confirmation and can view all order history

System support, what do we offer?

Within the Finance Systems Team there are dedicated specialists who can provide a range of support including:

  • Consultation and advice on how best to use the service and design your product
  • Full product creation
  • Technical support and product maintenance
  • Training for users from basic reporting to full product creation and maintenance

I simply had to provide a few details and a few days later I already received a link to the webpage where people can buy their ticket and pay not only via credit card but also via Paypal.
