Can I use Sussex services on my mobile phone?

You can get access to a lot services on your mobile if it has internet access:

Sussex Mobile
Get our mobile app for access to timetables and campus information

Email
You can use your University email on an android, iphone, Blackberry (PDF) or Nokia.

Useful tip
You can improve the battery life of your phone significantly if you turn off the wi-fi when you're not using it.

If you leave wi-fi on, your phone will be continually looking for available networks and connecting to them whenever it can. This is helpful for those times when you're using the internet because wi-fi is free whereas mobile networks usually charge for internet browsing. However, it does use a lot of energy so you can keep your battery running longer if you turn off wi-fi after you've finished using it.
