202How can I get more file space / disk space?
IT Services provides a place to store your work files called your Home Share (previously known as your N Drive). This space is provided for University business, not for personal use.
Your Home Share can store up to 50 Gb of files.
Please follow this procedure to check how much of your quota you are using.
If you need additional space, you can request more file space using this online form (login needed).
You will be asked to include the academic or business reasons for your request.
IT Services will also ask undergraduates to provide confirmation from their course tutor, and postgraduates to provide confirmation from their supervisor, about the additional file space that they will need for their work.
All students and staff have 1TB of storage with (for as long as they are members of the University).
