Full Module Description

This module will provide you with an introduction to Clinical Psychology. You will critically consider theory and research evidence concerning potential causes of different mental health disorders, and how they are diagnosed and treated. While quantitative research evidence will commonly be referred to on the module, qualitative research illustrating first-hand experiences of people with mental health disorders will also be considered, to deepen your knowledge and understanding of the topics covered.

Module Outline

This module will provide you with an introduction to Clinical Psychology.
