Module Outline
This is a following up module to Systems Analysis and Control (H6104Z), focusing on the analysis and design of digital control systems, linearised models of nonlinear systems and state space control methods.
Module learning outcomes
Apply appropriate techniques to model discrete systems and linearise nonlinear systems
Design, analyse and evaluate the performance of control systems using discrete and state space control approaches
Apply knowledge of discrete systems to solve engineering problems
Use practical laboratory and workshop skills to analyse and design discrete control systems
